もうすぐ！East meets West (EPO)

酒井です。おはようございます。

欧州特許庁(EPO)の、毎春恒例のイベント East meets Westが、もうすぐ開催されます。(4/10-11)

East meets Westは、
「アジアの特許情報に関する、EPOの年次フォーラム」と位置づけられています。

残念ながら、一度も参加した事がなく、
いつか行ってみたいなぁ・・・と、毎年指をくわえておりますが(^^；

このEast meets Westの良いところは、
主な発表資料のPDFが、開催直後から公開されること、です。

発表プログラムは、既に公開されていますので、
今のうちから「めぼしい発表はあるかな～？」と、軽くチェックしておかれても良いかもしれませんね～

Patent examiners with experience in the field of re-examination and appeals and documentation experts from Europe and several Asian countries will share their experiences on a variety of Asian patent systems. The experts will present particular challenges and outline appropriate strategies. There will be plenty of room for discussions and questions. 私としては、今年は１日目の午後に注目！です。

少し前のEMWといえば、日本・中国・韓国に関連の発表コマが多かったのですが、
今年は　インドネシア、ASEAN、アラブ、サウジアラビア　と、
これまで情報の少なかった地域の発表があり、楽しみになってきました。


この記事のポイントなので、もう一度。

開催後の公開になると思うので、
